The world’s oldest and most famous tea clipper has now entered the latest era in its long and fascinating history.
Following on from a £50 million restoration project that was interrupted by a serious fire in 2007, the Queen accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh recently officiated at the reopening of this three mast; 94 foot, 19th century vessel at its permanent home in Greenwich.
It is expected that the Cutty Sark will be a huge draw and will attract visitors from all over the world. When they do visit they will find a beautiful ornately decorated maritime treasure that has been designed to allow visitors to access to all areas, as well as learning more about its history by visiting the interactive museum.
