WHAT IS AN ENERGY CHECK?
Grundfos Energy Check investigates the energy consumption of your pump system and gives you an overview of life cycle costs, showing which pumps may qualify for replacement. Download energy solutions leaflet
BENEFITS
- Careful evaluation of life cycle cost
- Information about energy saving potential
- Improved environmental profile of your facility
- Prioritised installation list, detailing pumps/systems that could benefit from an Energy Check
HERE’S HOW GRUNDFOS ENERGY CHECK WORKS

1. INITIAL CONTACT – appointment with consultant
At this meeting, we secure a prequalification of your facility either through a discussion of the types of pumps you use, your applications, your process’s flow, size, age of existing pumps and other relevant information. From this we gain an insight into areas likely to not be performing optimally and define the next step.
2. DIAGNOSIS – onsite inspection
A walk-through of your premises is performed and a preliminary list of performance data and installed pumps drawn up. This allows us to pinpoint areas requiring optimisation.
3. PROPOSAL
A quotation is prepared based on first walk-through and preliminary data collection. During the walk-through observations are made on the pump system.
4. FULFILMENT – action
A comprehensive Energy Check of your entire system or selected pumps is carried out. A report on potential energy savings is drawn up.
5. ASSESSMENT – Grundfos Energy Check completed
After the presentation of the Energy Check report, you have the opportunity to select the right pump solution for your system or decide to carry on with a Pump Audit for exact measurements.
6. FOLLOW-UP – evaluation
For your full satisfaction, we follow up on the service job done at your premises. This ensures continuous and optimal service delivery performance from our side, and that your Grundfos pumps and systems are running according to your expectations.
